R = REVEALation

The word “Revelation” literally means to UNVEIL, or REVEAL something. But what, exactly, needs to be revealed? Well, there are many things, hidden and/or revealed in this book.
The Holy City, New Jerusalem, is the GRAND FINALE—not only of Revelation, but also of the entire Bible! And the details, on this, are located at the END of the book (chapters 21 & 22).
Why does the Bible give exact dimensions, of this city—why does it matter? It says 12,000 furlongs (stadia); and it says the wall is 144 cubits (see Revelation 21:15-17). But what is the length of the furlong, and the cubit? Is the wall 144 cubits tall, or wide, or both? And what about the 12,000 furlongs: is that per side, or two sides, or all the way around the perimeter?
Is the city shaped like a cube? Or is it shaped like a ball? What about the inside: are there multiple levels, like a skyscraper, and if so how many stories? And how many mansions are there, in this heavenly Jerusalem? How many will live in this city, including angels and saved humans: thousands, millions, billions, trillions, or more?
This is the landing page, for several studies on these questions—and other related topics, such as the design and dimensions of the tabernacle and temple (see Revelation 11:1).
