I = ImMOREtality

Matthew 16:26 – “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”
Immortality itself, has the highest possible value. Nevertheless, in addition to immortality itself, God also has many MORE rewards, for the saved; and some rewards will be greater than other rewards.
Matthew 5:11,12 – “Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for GREAT is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.”
Those who have suffered MORE, in the cause of Christ, will be rewarded MORE. It is not possible to be saved by works (see Romans 3:19-28; 11:6; Galatians 2:16; Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5-7; etc); however, IF you are saved, you will be REWARDED by your works!
Revelation 22:12 – “Behold, I come quickly; and my REWARD is with me, to render to every man according to his works.” (Douay-Rheims Bible).
This is the landing page, for advanced Bible studies on the special rewards for the saved.
Matthew 10:42 (Darby) – “And whosoever shall GIVE to drink to one of these little ones a CUP of cold [water] only, in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.”
NOTE: the Darby version correctly has the word “water” in [brackets]–meaning that this word is NOT in the Greek.
Jesus was a master of stating things in such a manner, that almost everyone would only see the superficial meaning; but His most important meanings, were His messages that flew under the radar. In this case, under the radar, Jesus said: “And whosoever shall give … a cold CUP …” (see Acts 20:35).
