eQuali-tarian or Chauvi-MENtarian?
LGBT eQuali-tarianism, or Male Chauvi-MENtarianism?
What about women in spiritual ministry (the church)? The two common views are called: “Egalitarianism” (often promoted by LGBTQ) and “Complementarianism” (often promoted by male chauvinism); as is almost always the case, though, both of the two most popular views are wrong!
LGBT eQuali-tarianism
The LGBTQ / liberals / progressives / feminists / atheists (which are all the same basic religion)—say that women and men are 100% exactly identical, not a single atom or molecule is different; in fact, males who were born male can even get pregnant, and give birth. When it comes to statements in Pauline epistles, about women in ministry, no problem—the Bible is 99.999% errors and contradictions; the one and only Bible verse, which is true, is the one that says: “God does not exist; and the atheist’s are right, about the Bible.” (Psalm 14:1; 53:1; as translated in the B.A.D. version, Bible of Atheism Dogma).
As with all Babel Skeptics (https://7grails.world/babel/): they are proud of their ignorance—they DO NOT KNOW who wrote anything in the Bible, when or where or what or why it was written, etc. The only thing they do know, is that the Bible is full of contradictions; and they are too lazy to use even one single neuron—and make even the slightest attempt, to solve the supposed contradictions. They DESPERATELY WANT contradictions, because that is the only possible way to justify their faithless worldview. So how do they treat the statements, about women being silent, etc? Very easy: just take a pair of scissors, and cut them all out of your Bible; then throw them in the trash—DONE! Bottom line, for LGBT eQuali-tarianism, when it comes to women in ministry: there is absolutely no difference, between men and women. However, dear women, these people are LYING to you!!
Male Chauvi-MENtarianism
The conservative scholars, on the other hand, generally do not discard any Bible verses; they believe that the entire Bible is true (and this is correct). Nevertheless, the conservative churches are almost always flooded, with male chauvinists (although they probably won’t admit it). One easy way, to recognize the chauvinists, is when they are quick to cite 1 Timothy 2:11-15, and/or 1 Corinthians 14:33-36; yet they do NOT point out the following very important facts, about these two passages.
In the first book to Timothy: the word “women” (plural) is found in four verses, in the KJV (2:9,10; 5:2,14); the first two of these are immediately prior, to the highly misquoted passage—which has “woman” exclusively in the singular (1 Timothy 2:11,12,14; see 5:16, this is the only other verse with singular, yet it clearly refers to women in general: “If ANY man or woman that believeth …”). The singular is used, in 1 Timothy 2:11,12,15 (“she”), because Paul was referring to ONE AND ONLY ONE SPECIFIC WOMAN (who had a very specific problem). In fact, in verses 13 and 14, Paul mentioned another SPECIFIC “WOMAN” (singular): named “Eve”; and yes, Paul drew timeless principles from Adam and Eve—and then he used those principles, to help solve a specific problem (with this specific local woman). Paul did not mention this local woman, by name, in order to be circumspect; however, Paul knew exactly who he was referring to, and so did Timothy in Ephesus (so there was no need to mention her, by name). But the chauvinists have absolutely no clue, that Paul was giving instructions about one specific woman—much less do they know her name, or anything else about her; therefore, they apply this passage universally: as if Paul was commanding “SILENCE” for all women, throughout all time, and in all circumstances!
The chauvinists also fail to understand 1 Corinthians 14:33-36, “Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as ALSO saith the law.” That one word, “also” (Greek #2532, kai), seems to be ignored by essentially everyone; and yet it does have a very important meaning—and it is one of the main keys, to unlock the true meaning of this passage. However, just like the other passage (1 Timothy 2): the chauvinists do not understand what Paul meant, in this passage. When Paul said “also”—he was NOT referring to his own commands, in addition to the “law”; we know this, for at least two reasons. First of all, this entire chapter (and book) came under the category, of Paul’s authority (see verse 37); so he did NOT need to repeat this, especially not merely in one single place (verse 34, but not elsewhere). Secondarily, in verse 21, Paul quoted from the “law”; but in that case, he did NOT say that it was “also” in the law (in addition to his own authority, and/or anything else). Then what is the reason, for this difference: one verse, about the law, has the word “also” (14:34)—and another verse, about the law, does not (14:21)?
So the chauvinists take these two passages (1 Timothy 2, and 1 Corinthians 14): and then they say that TWICE, Paul commanded ALL women to shut up—especially in church (and maybe everywhere else, as well). However, dear women, these people are also LYING to you—just like the liberals!! No wonder so many revolt, from this cold-hearted misinterpretation of Paul; unfortunately, the disillusioned conservatives, both men and women, frequently end up going to the other extreme (eQuali-tarianism).
